With spring in the air and the summer camping season quickly approaching, the decision has been made to add on to the existing gate house. The plan is to keep working out of the old one while we add the new one next to it.
With a few modifications this should work just fine.
Re-working some outside wiring and removing the power pole took first priority before getting ready for the concrete base.
The full-time park crew, with the help of some seasonal workers and volunteers like us, are able to handle just about anything that needs to be done to maintain this park of over 6,000 acres.
These guys are true professionals, really conscientious, and get things done well with a very limited budget.
